Food Day

I stayed at home as well today, and watched TVB drama.
TVB's a Hong Kong channel...and I must say their dramas are going a bit over. You would get what I mean if you've ever watched any. It's like how korean dramas have the typical incurable disease and girl dies, then guy suicides. Except everyone just turns into bad people in the HK one and EVERYONE dies. They always attempt to make everything as worse as possible.

Oh yay! I just got "EASTER MONEY"! I think today is my lucky day, though I was woken up from a horrible dream in the morning. Oh, Jono had also been so kind today for no reason. He bought me random stuff from Ebay. O__O What's happening..but I like it~

ANYWAYS, maybe it's because I made sushi for the both of us today! It was so boring and I had nothing to do:

The yaki sauce is simply sugar and soy sauce boiled together :D I think it really goes well with any seafood sushi. If you guys want to try it, I suggest not to use the microwave, because it won't give you that sticky and thick texture. It's like caramel. :DD yummm

Anna's Party

Good evening. I'm changing my blog's layout, because I never liked it much, despite the fact that I spent so long on it. Jessica's Diary is still under construction at the moment, so please do not be surprised if you see anything strange.


ANYWAYS, I went to Anna's charity/birthday party last night. (:
I met up with Vico, Hayley and Sabrina outside Sunnypark before we marched off to Mcgregor primary. Their parking was so dodgy...or maybe we were the crazy ones who kept getting in the way. Cars were like everywhere.

I was never a big fan of loud music though, but it was fun. I did my nails the night before as well! :DD




The OPI wasn't very glossy as a top coat should be, but it worked surprising well in glueing blinkies onto your nails! :D

Gold Coast

Hello people, sorry that I did not blog yesterday. I came back very late last night with my household, after a trip to Harbour Town and Hotel Marriott.



ANYWAYS, Harbour Town was alright..stuff there ARE a little cheaper than the outside, but it was quite hard to find something that fits with good quality as well. The Converse store was a big let down, along with many other stores :/ Well, I still managed to buy a Ralph Lauren shirt, a t-shirt and a pair of skinnies from Jayjay's.

ANYWAYS, let's talk about something happy, shall we?
Buffet at Marriott was woundrous, except the hotel wasn't as new as the one at the city. Someone told us the food there is nicer though, so that's why we went.

The bread and salad bar was alright. I LOVE bread, and they didn't have pretty ones like they should've, so I didn't bother taking photos of those. ANYWAYS, I LOVE DESSERTS, they had an endless variety of parfaits, tarts and pies etc etc. Sadly, they didn't have Haagen Dazs ice cream, like Hong Kong's Marriott. Do they even have that here? However, they did have homemade vanilla bean ones. It was sooooooo nice.





I miss my mum. We would always share every dessert that we get, so that we could try more. No one would do that with me here :(
ANYWAYS, my brother got me a cocktail as well, I have no idea why:

First Day

City was disappointing. Surprisingly, I did not buy anything at all, apart from this:

Oh well, atleast it made feel like I'm a good girl. (: I hope saturday's harbour town spree won't be as equally disappointing though. BRISBANE SUCKS :/

FORTUNATELY, after a boring hour alone with nothing interesting to look at, I met up with Chae and Emily. We didn't do much..we ate, took photos and bumped around.

Emily and Chae wore MASSIVE high heels, which made me even more midgety.
Is midgety even a word?


Yer...I had quite a horrible acne outbreak. Does it mean you're growing when you get pimples? Anyways, I hate how I used to say acne, "ac-ken-ni".

Chae and I decided to be tourists, so we took photos with the shop. I looked weird, so I'm making myself into a marshmallow:

Marshmallow

Today is the first day of my holiday and sadly, I woke up at 6 o'clock. I think I got used to it, because I always had to wake up early for school.

ANYWAYS, I hope those who tried my marshmallows liked them. (: I made a second batch last night for my aunt, and here is the recipe:



What you need:
-1 1/2 cups sugar
-2 tbsp gelatine powder
-shredded coconut
-electric mixer

1. Combine sugar with 2/3 cup of hot water in a pot and boil untill the mixture turns to a clear syrup.
2. Combine gelatine powder with 2/3 cup of cold water, and pour mixture into the syrup. Cook until both are well combined, forming no clumps.
3. Set mixture aside to cool. (Approximately 30mins)
4. Beat on high with an electric mixer for 10-15mins, untill the mixture is thick.
5. Pour mixture into a 25 x 25 container and chill in fridge for 20-30mins. (It might take longer, depends on how thick the mixture is)
6. Take out mixture from fringe and cut into squares.
7. Spoon out marshmellow squares carefully and toss them in a coconut-filled container.
8. ENJOY!

Note: You might like to try dribbling melted chocolate on top, or adding food colouring to the marshmellows!!

I am so happy

One more day of school, but it feels like holiday already. Today after school, I paid a visit to the supermarket, because I wanted to make marshmellows. They are chilling in the friDge at the moment. I hope that they will turn out well and set properly. :/

ANYWAYS, I was extremely bored in English today. I didn't feel like doing what I was told to, after finishing a stressful chemistry exam. Instead of writing a twenty-lines english dialogue, Zoe and I drew pictures:
