16-12-2012, "Saigon, HK"

Sorry that I haven't been updating much lately, but after I came back from Taiwan, I had been pretty much sick the whole time. Being sick wasn't too boring though...he came and took me to eat porridge :3 Porridge tastes so bad lol................Then went to the bookshop and went for a walk at the local park for fresh air. Mum was pretty annoyed that I went out, afraid that I would get more sick...but she became fine after I told her that I finally ate porridge.

So I finally recovered on the 16th, which was yesterday, and since it was a Sunday, I went out with my family and friends to the country side :)

Before we boarded the boat, we saw puppies from abandoned dogs up for adoption :(...
They were so cute seriously...but so sad that I couldn't adopt one...:'(..

When we arrived on the island, we just strolled along the beach...or rocky land O_O
Also found tiny hermit crabs everywhere...

Saw a suspicious looking boat...

Brother
Sister
Bought some snacks and pocari sweat at the kiosk :3~!

And a beautiful sunset to end our trip of the day :)

"Disney Tim Tams, Blueberry Mousse Cake"

ust some cute little things that I've made lately :)
Enjoy!
As for the blueberry mousse cake...Lina came over to learn to bake it for Josiah! Hehe
It's a shame that I don't have extra equipments for her to bake along...she just had to watch me bake that :(
Hopefully she'll go well with baking it! :)

And...cute little puppies that a friend gave me :')...Know I love dalmatians but can't have real pups...
The border collie pup is there because originally its tag says "Jess", so they bought it as well to swap the dalmatian's tag which said "Jasper", lol.
 Super cute

Tuesday 20/11/2012, "Ponycat, Wagaya, BBQ"

So on tuesday morning, I met up early with A to have a little breakfast catch up before we both leave Brisbane!
We went to Ponycat in New Farm...and I didn't expect it to be such a...hipster cafe :p

Should've taken photos of the graffitis on other walls :/
Chorizo with oven dried tomatos, spinach, and caramelised onions in omelette, served with rye (or was it sourdough? I forgot, since I can't eat bread anyway :p) Yum!

After that I went to the valley to meet up with Blossom, because I had to shout her birthday lunch! (Super belated though!) And I'm so in love with their seared scallop and salmon :(:( (Craaaaaaave
If you like their scallop/salmon box sushi, you must try the scallop/salmon chirashi. You will be in LOVE.
Then visited my school for next year - Hogwarts
Jokes, was just a church/college that we passed by at the city :p

Then at about 4pm, I had to go to South bank to meet up for christian dent bbq!
It was more like a farewell party for the 5th years though :)
Sacrificed my shirt and cooked bbq for you guys! Love me!
But good luck to y'all!

That was basically my day :) We ended at about 7pm and B drove me home.
Was so tired that I slept at 10pm

Thursday 15/11/2012, "Intouchables"

Since we couldn't hang out Wednesday as I my exam was to end at like 8pm...
Thursday it was! :)

Met up at 12pm, and went to eat Matongsan because I felt like Korean food the night beforehand hehe.
The day was mainly to watch the Intouchables (French movie), so they only aired it in Indooroopilly...
Wanted to watch it so much ever since Mum recommended it...but he watched it the day I found out about it and still insisted on going.........sorry ah!

Move was at 3:45pm? So we walked, shopped around before hand.
Thank you for this.......the popcorn (specifically caramelised butter popcorn) that I suddenly craved during exam period, and the colour pencils that I wanted lol...also the Pretzels that I said something along the lines of "go find me it", when I got angry lol.....but your fault la!--
You take ages in the bathroom, long enough for me to take this photo o.

The Intouchables was really a must-watch. Based on a true story, it was about an unfortunate rich man who fell into a coma, and was risky enough to choose a gangster background caretaker instead of everyone else who were properly qualified.
A super touching film on how the 'showing-no-pity' caretaker heals his wounded heart, and brings his life back on track.
Highly recommended for all!
We headed back to city for dinner, and had sushi train at the Hanaichi restaurant~
I love seared salmon so much....
Like always, every time after we eat, we like to walk around to digest our food..haha
Walked to South Bank, and got on my train there~

Always wanting photos, silly.

Jono's 21st

Title says it all, except he likes to keep things quiet and simple :)

We had hot pot at Sunnybank in a little family of three.

Happy birthday dearest, even though I called you ugly on Facebook.

Zoe's birthday at Sofitel

Happy birthday to dear Zosh again :).
It was so wonderful and special to catch up with everyone again.
It made me realise how much we've all grown up, so the outing felt like an intermission while we were all on our own paths :')

Everyone looked so slick and shine, so well done. :)
I'm still so smiley from seeing everyone's happy faces from that day. Good job!

Not to mention I have been sick all friday night so I didn't sleep AT ALL. Credit to myself for not subsiding to panadol. I can become an activist against western medicine. I HATE ANTIBIOTICS, so maybe I will tell you guys why one day.

This was taken at the end of our meal. I was still a little sick, so I didn't eat much.

Most beautiful best friends.

So much love from me right?

Dear You

If one day you do see this, remember tonight when you asked me to study together
I was too scared to ask but you popped the question first.

Last day of holiday

To be honest, even though this holiday was so short (only a week), I never knew it would be one of the funnest I've had. I can't believe I made the effort to go out every single day and not do my presentation work up until now. I'm so proud to say our group was so disorganised and unprepared because now we've all made the most of our holiday :' ).
I think really deserved the fun because we've worked so hard every moment we are in dent school. The pressure of not failing, not getting scolded by lecturers, dentists.....I'm so glad I had so much fun, met so many new people, made so many friends, and most of all surrounded myself with people I love, enjoy hanging out with.
It's so silly how I am writing all this here, but it will sound so cocky if I posted it on Facebook haha...
No one I met, became friends with this year will ever see this, at least not now hehe
(I haven't told anyone about this blog that I always had because I wanted it to truly be my diary..)

So maybe days, weeks or years later when I look back at this I will still remember this holiday...and if anyone of you friends who I became friends with this year ever see this...
I just want to let you know...
....
that you've came to a special place in my heart that brought you here.

:' )
BOOOOO so cocky

To dearest friends I made from high school, dental school, HKSA, BSA, and everywhere else.

The Ultimate Jessica Chestnut Dome

Another creation of the softest, velvet like cream sponge, with chestnut filling and light pear mousse subtlety. :)

This cake was really one of the most which I enjoyed making, and finger licking for the chestnut puree. :P Hope you guys enjoy is as much as I do.

There were two orders of this over the weekend, except one requested a blueberry cheesecake filling : )
One from a son for his father's birthday and the other ordered by a girl purely for sweet indulgence.

Being a delightful as I deliver these cakes....

Chocolate tags also available

River Fire 2012

Saturday yesterday was my first time ever going to Brisbane River Fire with just one person and girl....
:' ) Love you lotssssssss Zoe PEA
(^ Years later when I read back I'm going to realise how silly I sound haha)

Around lunch time, I went to deliver a cake to a customer....:)
(Photos will be released very soon, but not in this post)
Then I headed off to South Bank to have afternoon tea with Nipuni and Dr Badran.
I can't believe our 3 people tete-a-tete lasted from 2:30pm-6:00pm :' )
We've always promised Badran to keep ourselves updated where ever we are.
Our conversation went from what will be in our future houses to books to work and to all sort of random and weird things. He's like... half a Dad or more :')
Little more than half, because his favourite question is still
"Have you got a boyfriend yet??"
HAHA, and to answer also to any one of you who is so interested and nosey about my life, the answer is no :') But I will sure let you guys know when I do!

They have such beautiful Asian lanterns this year, and it gave such a Japanese Summer Fest feeling :P with hanabi~

Kisses and muchies !

Chris and his cheeseburger.
Tried to capture that ball of light with my mouth..:P Silly me
Mwa~
Sabrina was also there too, except we only got to see them for a short time !
