My birthday

has passed, but thank you. It's interesting how many of you gave me things that are related to food! Here are some pictures:

Ohmygod, I was so happy, because I've never seen this baby blue one before, have you? COOKIES AND CREAM FLAVOURED, and it was at the right temperatue! I just love how a lindor explodes when you bite it.

A sushi making set, with recipes. HAHA

Exactly what it says. It looks too baby, but...:)

These were really cute as well...Hayley knitted the scarfs!

WELL, i think that's enough of showing my stuff..you're probably getting bored already. I was very happy today, because I went food shopping after North Shore. I am truly impressed the smell of Yuen's Market. How worse can it get?

ANYWAYS, taiwanese mochi for $7............

I also realised that I bought a very interesting packet of lollies:

IT'S SO CUTE. With 5 different dessert flavours! Cheesecake, tiramisu, strawberry pastry, apple pie and mango pudding!

Hehe, I think I'm going to take it with me to buddha fest and eat with friends. It's just too cute...

EVEN THE INDIVIDUAL PACKAGING! DO YOU SEE THE CHINESE BABY?

THANK YOU

THANK YOU, EVERYONE.

I don't know what else I can say apart from those two simple words to you guys.
Sixteen years ago on this day, I was born. I thank my parents. I LOVE YOU, FAMILY.
You are the most happiest and luckiest thing that ever happened to me in my whole entire life.
Six years ago, I came here. Jono always stayed by my side. From the times when we talked nonstop in our bunk bed through to the nights when we fall asleep watching the television in it. You made me happy.I LOVE YOU, BROTHER.

Then, I met all these new friends. I LOVE YOU, YOU GUYS. You people made me who I am today, and kept me in the good shape. I still remember those times when I didn't want to go home. I wanted to live in the school. How stupid was I, because you guys were always there for me, just not next to me.

Then, high school came and I made even MORE new friends, along with the friends I already had. You guys are the ones who put a smile on my face, whenever I needed somebody. Though the some of you come and go, the memories we've had together will stay. I LOVE YOU, FRIENDS.

Today, it's my sixteenth, and the all of you had said Happy Birthday to me. I'm grateful for all that blessing, and all the joy that you guys have ever given me. THANK YOU.

At last, thank you, God. For all the love that people had given me in the past 6 years, when I needed it the most. Friends and teachers...They weren't related to me, but they still loved me, because of You. Though I've sometimes abandoned you, because I was sad, angry and stubborn, but You are still always here for me, and listen to my prayers. THANK YOU, GOD. My wish came true.

I'll tell you more about my birthday tomorrow, but tonight I just want to say thank you.

THANK YOU, EVERYONE.

Simple Food

HIHIHI, I wasn't going to blog today, but people came home late, so I did a bit of cooking! I feel like it's necessary to show you guys what I had for dinner! :D

Pork belly on rice with a VERY VERY runny egg!!
Ohmygod, it actually tasted really good...because I used a premade korean sauce to marinate the pork, HAHA.
ALSO, I would never ever eat raw eggs before, but I was too hungry to wait for it to be fully cooked! I LOVE RUNNY EGGS NOW.

Long long time no blog?

Again, sorry that I havn't been blogging for awhile. Oh! By the way, I'm going to Hong Kong for the next term break again! :D Except I am not going to leave school early like I usually do. It's year 11 this year, so I don't think I should skip any of my exams and only go back for 2 weeks.

ANYWAYS, I shall fill you guys up with what I did during the long weekend, ay.

Saturday:
-Sorry, I really cannot remember what I did. Anybody knows?

Sunday:
-I went to Sunnybank with my aunt again. We went food shopping and I bought this:

A Japanese black sesami coated mochi (rice cake), with red bean filling. They also have many other types, and they are made in Japan. I must say made in Japan mochi's, are much nicer than the ones made in any other asian countries. You can get it from the taiwanese supermarket, Welcome, for $2.40.

I also bought a Vivi from market square:

It's the Taiwanese version. However, I was a bit disappointed, because almost half of it was filled with local taiwanese advertisement, with products that arn't even made in Japan. :/ It just wasn't worth it, especially when it's much expensivier in here.

ANYWAYS, I drew another pattern :D! :

An example of a hardworking student. I'm proud of my multitasking skill, as I do chemistry and my nails at the same time.

OH, that morning, I also found a green tree frog in the kitchen!

We have so many of them living in our garden. They hide during the day and comes out at night. SO CUTE.

ANYWAYS, we wrapped it around a tissue and brought it back outside.

He and his lizard friend. I think his buddy was trying to eat him though.

Monday:
WAS KAREN'S BIRTHDAY!

I went ice skating with Allen, Bryan and two of Bryan's friends.

I actually wore a jacket that I usually sleep with when cold. I was in such a rush, despite the fact that I live right across the place.

Such pro photo taking skills, ay.

AT NIGHT, we had some friends coming over, and we had our own "Korean" BBQ.

Half way through, we ended up stir frying udon on it..

ANYWAYS, that was my weekend report.
I couldn't have remembered much, if I did not have the photos to look at. *Sigh

Bad Food

Hello, I stayed at home today and did some of my homework. I feel so sad, because I couldn't open my chemistry report after I finished it. Sigh...

ANYWAYS, today my aunt went to Noosa for one day and the other went to Melbourne. I didn't know that untill the both of them left, so I cooked lunch again. Jono made dinner though, stir fry udon, and it was delicious, whereas my cooking tasted soooooooo bad.
I made steamed seafood eggs, tofu and salmon sushi:

I followed a recipe which I found on the net. It seriously looked gross, as well as the taste.

The tofu was flavourless.

We finsihed our lunch with LOTS of teriyaki sauce, which covered the grossness of the food.

YAY, I overcooked the salmon:

They were like salmon jerky.

ANYWAYS, I found so many cute blog parts today. After playing with many, I've decided to display a mini game on the side of my page! IT'S A BARBEQUE GAME, and it's quite addictive. I got up to 4050 points, but I'm sure the many of you can do better. The aim of the game is to grill and eat as much as you can! You have make sure the food you eat is well cooked. The points you can get rewarded are 50, 100 and 250. There is also a fatty boy sitting opposite to you. I have no idea what he is for though, but I guess he is just there to aggrevate you when he eats. However, you can get full. There is a fullness-metre at the bottom left corner, which indicates the space you have left. Once you get full, the game is over!

WELL, HAVE FUN! :D

Dream #1

OH, I had an interesting dream a few nights ago, and I thought I might share that with you people in a separate post. It was very detailed and memorable, which was quite unusual. Some of you might find it boring, so might as well not waste your time reading it.

WELL, the world was coming to an end.
HOW? A sin curve appeared in the universe, which would slowly drag whatever touches it towards the sun. (Yes, a sin curve. I think I've had too much maths)

Sadly, Earth was one of them. Due to that, the president announced that we were all getting teleported to a whole new planet. I have no idea what it was called, but somehow I knew it looked grey from a distance. Unfortunately, that planet was ALREADY part of the sin curve. Much ahead than Earth was.

SO, everyone had a few days to live before they die. At this point, you might think that everyone went crazy and there were chaos every. No, the world had became peaceful, for once.

Well, my brother and I grew a very large garden at the back of our house. We went outside and sat at the balcony. I realised how high up we were from the ground. Strange. The colours were purple, pink and orange. At that moment, we realised that our planet had stopped spinning, and stayed at a point where we would have sunset, forever. So pretty and peaceful, that it felt like the happiest moment of my life.

The dream was short and it ended here-

Long Weekend

I had North Shore today after school. Pretty sad how I'm all by myself now, since Hayley does Saturday and Vico quitted. I miss them. However, I was extremely productive with my work. :)

ANYWAYS, did you know that bolognaise is originated from Bologna in Italy? We had a family friend who was from Bologna, and he taught us how to make the traditional spaghetti bolognaise! The secret was to add extra bacon and butter, which you panfry beforehand!:D My aunt cooked the sauce on wednesday. No one came home on thursday, so I ate the leftover sauce:

Mixing that with rice, and micrwaving it with cheese tastes sooooooooo nice.
OH, you must include celery as well!

ANYWAYS, I bought some Burt's Bees products the other day. Jono spotted the tin can lip balm sitting on my bed, and he wanted it. It's lightly mint flavoured, which I very much dislike, but I still bought it because it looked so cute! I don't think I'll ever open it, hehe.

In the end, he wanted the Beewax Lipbalm instead, and I was nice enough to give that to him. How generous I was. I also bought the honey lip balm and it smelt so nice! I love honey~ Yay, honey and oatmeal for breakfast.

OH, and I am so happy that we have two consecutive long weekends!

Creative Day

Everyone is so creative these days! :D

SO, I did my nails

it really did take ages, and still turned out not so good. My eyes are so tired now from drawing the pattern...........

AND, my dad e-mailed me this today:

Jacobie made it during Easter! So cute, hehe.

ALLEN, made this:

AND, I made this crappy rose, with the same material:

That is Zoe in the picture, by the way. She did the words a the bottom. It says 'Jess'.

Anyways, I have to go to bed now, sorry about the short post, but I hope you liked it!
Oh by the way, I'm seriously in love with Home Brand vanilla ice cream and rice tastes really good with spaghetti sauce! Just want to let you guys know! :D

Master Chef

I hope you guys watched Master Chef tonight. It would be a shame if you didn't, because it is the BEST thing on the television EVER. I even had dinner early, so that I could finish my homework in time to watch Master Chef. It was so exciting during the 5 minutes before the show starts. I love how they ask you "HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO BE AUSTRALIA'S NEXT MASTER CHEF??"
It makes you scream in front of the television.

ANYWAYS, I found this hand cream a few days ago in my wardrobe. I have no idea who put it there, but I've seen it in Target before. One of those cheapo hand cream, but it smells soooooo nice:

I love it, because you can eat coconut.
OHMYGOD, when Jono and I were young, my mum bought a chocolate flavoured body soap. It smelt soooooo nice, whenever we showered. One day, we got curious and decided to eat it. It felt like as though acid was burning our throats, and we never tried that again.

OH, my food miniature. It's tiny, and is a snow ice on the outside.:

POLAR BEAR in the inside! :D

Yesterday and Today

Hello, sorry again. I was too busy to blog yesterday. I spent the whole day at Sunnybank, and did grocery shopping, while I waited for my aunt. We prefer yum cha at Shangrila near Market Square than Landmark. Seriously, that place is disgusting. They always serve you cheapo microwaved dumplings or meatballs. YUCKY.

OHMYGOD, I had Tea Etc. afterwards, because I didn't eat much at yum cha, though the food was rather delicious. However, I must say mini pearls are disgusting after I tried it yesterday. They are like overcooked pearls, or maybe mine actually WAS overcooked. The sensation of such slimy substance travelling down your throat just doesn't feel very pleasant, at all.

ANYWAYS, grocery shopping does not take very long, so before that, I bumped around and shopped as well. I must admit the only places that amuse me in here are K-mart and Target. I spent a whole hour there. SOMETIMES THEY HAVE REALLY GOOD BARGAINS. I found these, nail polish pens:

I hate the brand name. They were on sale I think, $7 each...I don't know what the original price was, but $7 was pretty cheap anyway. So i bought white, black and gold. I regret not buying pink as well. The pens worked better than I thought and were quite precise:

My failed attempt on a leopard print.
I think I shouldn't have used brown as the base.

I bought these as well:

The colours were gold, brown and a peachy pink. They were $7 off each. Original was $13 I think. Revlon is pretty good, but I wouldn't buy it from the original price, becuase with few dollars more, you can get OPI! :D

ANYWAYS, enough with what I bought blabla, because it's probably boring some of you out. Well, after that I went to look for a korean ham, bulgoggi (however you say that), so that I could make sushi. However, I didn't end up making any today, because my salmon was still too frozen. :( I ate leftovers instead. Korean supermarkets are so nice, where you can buy their ice cream and eat it as you shop. They are VERY cheap too. I had a chocolate ice cream waffer. $1 $1 $1~~

ANYWAYS, today I studied Maths B and C, did my english homework and cooked dinner:

HOMEMADE CHICKEN, TOMATO AND FETTA CHEESE PATTIES. (with carrot and cappers salad)
I followed a Woman's Weekly recipe. They always work. However, I think I should've added more cheese and tomato than the recipe suggested.

I also cooked something secret today, and I'll show you guys if someday if it turns out good! =D

I just Ctrl-A and pressed delete on a never-ending blog entry which I just typed. Not that I should be posting something too personal here anyway, despite the fact that my blog runs under the theme of "all about me". I felt really bad, so I thought typing everything out would make myself feel better. I also thought deleting it would motivate myself into thinking the positive side of things, which it didn't. Now it makes me feel like I'm a failure.
Oh well, let me confess in here.
I have completely given up on my hopeless household. We never had any feelings towards one another or what so ever. It is dead, and had always been. I really have tried my best, truly. Exclude Jono out of this by the way. So, you see what this was all about now? Not something very happy or interesting, ay? I'm glad I deleted it.

I actually feel so much better now. Maybe I should say thank you to all my friends in here. Thank you for all the support! I'm not even sure if you guys would see this or not, but oh well! For the some of you had known me since I came here in grade 5. (: I'm so glad I had you all, or else what would I have become, if I did not have such good friends who were always there for me! Lastly, thank you to the person who suggested me to write out everything. It made a change.

ANYWAYS, enough with that. Today after school I went to the city with Chae, because I had no North Shore. I had a pudding milk tea! (Highlight of the day) I realised it is much more easier to buy food, than to buy clothes in here. We shopped for over an hour, and I did not end up buying anything. Oh well, as long as it was fun!

OH, something truly embarrassing happened on the way home. I have decided to take the train, and it was quite crowded, packed with people. An asian lady, about the age of 40, was standing in front of me, and we were both reading our daily MX's. Half way through the trip, everyone was concentrating on their own businesses. I finished reading the paper and looked up as I was shoving it away. A spider was dangling in the air on top of me, doing freestyle aerobics or something. Well, its length was about 2cm or less, but still pretty gross. Anyways, no one realised it was there, and I watched it. The sight was pretty amusing it first, untill it started descending down. I concentrated on it, in case it would touch me. Somehow, I thought it was aiming at the tip of my nose. It was getting closer and closer. I realised I had to do something immediate, as the spider descended down further, leveling with my eyes.
SO, I did what a normal human being with the right human instinct would do!
I blew it. Away from my face. :D
It went flying. Then it hit the lady's face.
She let out a squeal, and the spider fell to her chest. I could feel my face turning red, which gave it all away. Oh yer, and she destroyed it, the poor thing. I just kept apologising till I got off the train.

WELL, that was my day. Have no photos for you people. BYEBYE!

Home Alone

HELLO. How many days had it been since I blogged? Sorry, it gets busy again once school has started. I got some of my marks back today, from last term. Did pretty well on chemistry, but not so well on maths B...I guess I could have done better. Sigh.

ANYWAYS, today last period I had maths B, and I couldn't stop thinking what to eat for dinner. Maybe that explains my mark. Home alone again, with everyone else out busy doing whatever they are doing. Oh well, I was so happy, because I have decided not to cook, but to get my dinner at the city instead. Sadly, I bought sushi, when I was supposed to look for something new and exciting.

I'm not a big fan of sashimi, but that is what I had for dinner:

I love salmon<3

I somehow ended up putting them into the grill:

THE COLOUR, HAHA.
Maybe it didn't look very nice, to you.
I thought it tasted even even better than before. Warm and delicious for winter!:D

ANYWAYS, I didn't do much today. Got home, ate dinner, painted my nails for fun and did maths C homework(except it was interrupted by a phone call from my Dad). It's so nice to talk to him on the phone. OH, and I had a really happy dream last night, where my dad, mum, Jono, Jacobie and I were in a taxi at night. I asked my mum where we were going and she said we were going on a vacation very far away. Sadly, we ended up in a church. Still, it felt very happy.

OH WELL, enough with the boring unreality..Karen sent me this the other day!

Year 7 Sydney and Canberra trip. We looked like babies. Look at Dylan, HAHA.

I cried today...

chopping onions can really get emotional sometimes.

ANYWAYS today i took the train to Sandgate! I went to buy ingredients, because I had to cook dinner again. I swear western countries have supermarkets too big that asians with bad eyesight like me have trouble finding what they need. I shopped for two hours, because I seriously enjoyed reading every item's package. I feel like turkish delight at the moment...
WELL, that was random. Ohmygod, So sad...School's starting tomorrow, which means study again..I probably won't get to to cook as much.

BACK TO TONIGHT'S DINNER, grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce and soba salad:

Yer..it didn't look very nice as it should've been. I've never grilled a fish before...so it took a pretty long time, because I didn't want to burn it before the inside is cooked. HAHA, thirty minutes...........................

ANYWAYS, reason why I also went to the supermarket was to check out what Jennifer recommended this morning on msn. She's so cool! :D We talked about food, and apparantly, Master Food's Satay Chicken Sauce is very nice. She had tried it before and said it could be found in Woolworths, but I just couldn't find it. FAIL. My eyesight is getting worse, since I've been watching too much dramas on my laptop during the holiday. Oh well, I always have my glasses in my drawer, and my eyes will probably get better once I resumed to school.

OH YER, I better go sleep now...hope 2010, term 2 will be a good term for me! Pray for me!

Choe and Chess

Hello, today I went out with Zoe, Ariel, Jono, Diana and her boyfriend (I cannot remember his name, not that I asked anyway, but he was cool). They booked a court at UQ for badminton, but everyone came late. It was fun though, despite having only thirty minutes to play. (:

We got changed after badminton. Well, only my top.

ANYWAYS, my brother had to borrow a book from the library, so we followed him. They had the best wall:

AFTERWARDS, we decided to go to to go to city for lunch. Yay, I was so happy. Zoe and I played by the beautiful lake of UQ, as our siblings waited for the bus:

So disgustingly beautiful that it was covered in dirty green algae. I wondered how ducks could still swim in it.

AFTERWARDS, we went to city for lunch!...Firstly, we went to tea etc. I finally had the pudding milk tea. It was soooooo nice (bit of an exaggeration there, but it was good), because I like it when things are sweet. Everyone else had tea as well, but the oh-so-exceptional brother of mine did not, "HOW CAN YOU DRINK CRAP LIKE THAT?" BLABLA ANYWAYS, we went to Kadoya afterwards (again), and I had the pork katsudon. I feel so proud that I could finish it all by myself. OH, I bumped into Dom as well in the restaurant. He was with his family, and he had the CUTEST siblings ever. @@ Baby brothers with the biggest eyes...naw so cute.......even everyone else agreed...I think we scared them away somehow.

ANYWAYS, we talked for ages after we ate, not to mention when we had tea as well. Then, we went to play pool, except Zoe was desperate for sticky photos. Well, I havn't had any in here in ages anyway:

So kiddy~

Well, that was our hang out day, we departed after playing pool.

TONIGHT, everyone in my household was too busy, so I had to cook dinner. I made the easy oven-baked bolognese... :D

...and a peas and beetroot salad! It was my first time trying it, and it was pretty nice!

Oh, Zoe showed me something interesting on her bag:
