Grill'd

HI, once again, I've been pretty busy throughout the week. Hayley reminded me that my math B block exam is on next next friday, so I really have to study now.

ANYWAYS, I went out to South Bank with Jono yesterday and watched Robinhood. I had to buy a new classpad calculator as well...because I was so stupid that I dropped it and smashed the screen...

WELL, This was the colour I was wearing:

AND GUESS WHAT?
...Jono pointed out that I was wearing matching colour socks as well!! :D

I only pulled the leg of my pants up, so that you can see it.

The movie was quite good, though it was a bit too long. We ate Grill'd before the movie:

It was so yummy. I had the Tuscan Delight, which was a grilled chicken breast burger with semi dried tomatoes and a very very delicious pesto. The pesto was so nice with loads of pine nuts (I think) in it. There were more in the burger, but I can't remember now. I chose the panini bread over the traditional one as well. Jono had the pickled mustard beef burger:

Bad quality photo, and eww...I dislike pickles.
OH, the chips we had were very nice as well, served with a herbed mayonnaise. They sprinkled the chips with herbs too, maybe oregano leaves. Overall, the burger weren't as good as I expected, but it was still very delicious. Mos Burger and Fat Burger still remain as number ones on my list <3

ANYWAYS,I watched another Saw movie the other day. I think the story really gets addictive... Jono and I were a bit hungry, so we decided to eat this:

Yup, it's the one on the ad (:
The meatballs and pasta actually looked better than I expected. It wasn't dodgy like other can foods, and looked exactly like it is shown on the can. The taste was pretty good as well for a can food.

ANYWAYS, I wanted to "re-blink" my calculator again..but I had a limited source of blinkies. Either pearl or black crystals. I had pearls for my old calculator though..

I couldn't choose, so I left it untouched...

See the crack?

HI!
The Max pure brown lens. I found them dried up the other day, because the case was dodgy and it leaked. Luckily,I retrieved them by soaking them in new solutions for another 4 fours. Ummm, you can't really see what the lens look like here, but I don't like them very much. The colour turned out much lighter than I thought it would have, and they don't look very natural on me...:/ I realised wearing contact lens does require loads of makeup. Well, atleast for me...

The wind was very strong

Discovery

I finally finished my chemistry ERT today! Now I can spend more time on maths and physics.

ANYWAYS, I paid a visit to my backyard today. Maybe I felt like fresh air. There wasn't anything interesting, but these:

The gerbera has finally bloomed, and it's pink! It looks like a massive daisy, so I love it.

OH, just finished watching Master Chef. I better go study now, BYEBYE!

Apple Turn-over cake

Hello, I didn't do much tonight. It's friday night, but I hadn't played enough Restaurant city and Hotel City. I have been baking a cake instead. Baking cakes really does take my mind of something.

Sadly, the cake didn't turn out the way I wanted it to:

I modified a pineapple turn-over cake recipe and an apple tea cake recipe to make it.
It was supposed to have another ring of apples around the outside, like this:

, but it didn't turn out the way I planned it, because the cake mix somehow leaked through the apples on the outside and covered them.

I hope it tastes good though. Couldn't be bothered to eat it now. .......

Then I msn-ed for awhile and read magazine..

mmm..........

it's like 10:50 now
...

討厭 我有我好 玩個痛快

what am I doing..

maybe I should just go.

IMPORTANT

I have decided to create a separate post for this, because this is going to be very important. I now introduct you...

THE ULTIMATE WINTER MUST-EAT!!
Location: City, Broadway (where HYPE and Just Jeans are), downstairs foodcourt
Food: Turkish pide

SO, One day I suddenly felt like eating kebab, and that is how I came to know this place. Yes, to those of you who have read my previous blogs, it was the day I went out with Zoe. The shop is pretty small and dull, and it's right next to the Japanese sushi shop. I'm sorry to say, but the look of the shop does not give a very good impression. However, I was speechless after I tasted their turkish pide one day after school. It was just magnificent.

ANYWAYS, this Turkish pide is a homemade turkish bread stuffed with a filling of your choice. I think it included a selection of chicken + tomato + cheese, beef or lamb + tomato + cheese and fetta + spinach. What's so special about it is the way they serve it. It is put into a kebab grill, until the every bit of its surface turns crunchy and golden brown. The filling stays moist and warm, and I had the chicken + tomato + cheese filling, which was so nicely cooked beforehand. It isn't like one of those normal chicken, tomato and cheese toasted sandwich you get from the tuckshop everyday. Its taste and look are completely different. Nothing's better than a warm turkish pide that you can sink your teeth into during such cold days. Its sensation just makes you want to go back for a second one. I know it is simple, but it feels like the ultimate winter must-eat, for just $3.90! Not to mention the size of the bread is big and fair, since I ate nothing else that night, as I barely managed to finish it!

Note: $3.90 weekdays and $5.50 on weekends.

Few days after that, I went back to try the fetta and spinach one. I prefer the other fillings more though. The fetta and spinach filling isn't the dry ones that you usually get. It is completely moist with BIG lumps of fetta. I loved the fetta, but the spinach was just a bit tasteless, like plain boiled vegies.

WELL, that's all I've got to say.
Good luck and have fun if you're deciding to give it a try!

(Oh, and that Japanese place next to it makes the best califonia rolls.)

I miss Phillip

I'm so sad, because Phillip got eliminated from Master Chef. No offense, but Kary should have been gone. Ohmygod, and it was Phillip's birthday as well...Master Chef made me cry, while Jono swore at the TV.

ANYWAYS, enough with Master Chef, because I don't think much people watch it anyway. I've been quite busy lately as well. Here's the cake I baked the other day:

I call it the Chocolate Orange Log.
I actually combined two recipes to make it. Cupcake recipe for the cake and a random one for the orange peel icing. There is also orange peel in the cake as well.

SIGH, my desk is getting really messy as well.

It actually looks a little bit better in photo, but...
I feel like as though I'm working in a pig sty everyday after school. I don't have much time to tidy my desk, but to blog ay. Shame on me :(

No Homework

Surprising, I only had a Japanese worksheet to do tonight. Therefore, right after I came home, I played Hotel City :D..and Restaurant City..and watched MASTER CHEF. I did all of those without feeling guilty at all. Now I'm baking a cake.
I hope it finishes baking soon, because I feel like going to bed already.

ANYWAYS, I watched Ip Man 2 the other day, at home. It was in mando, Martin downloaded it. Whoever wrote the subtitles had even worse english than me! I feel happy :D

What the white guy actually said was, "you're making a very big mistake."
I have no idea how they ended up subbing THAT.

WELL, he got bashed anyway.

:)
by the legendary YIP MAN, or the "I.P. Man" that the some of you might refer to.

OH, my cake just finished baking. I must wake up early tomorrow to decorate it! Off to bed now, good night!

My Weekend

Sorry readers, I realised I've only been blogging once a week. Year 11 IS getting harder D:
I've been busy with school work during week days, so I hope you guys will understand. If anybody still read this.

ANYWAYS, I woke up this morning with an empty stomach. Well, that's normal, but the thing is, so was the pantry!
HOWEVER, I managed to make some mini cupcakes without milk:

They look a bit messy, because I suck at decorating with icing.
Oh by the way, they are coffee cupcakes with vanilla icing, but you can't really taste the coffee. I love how they are MINI cupcakes, because you can't gain much fat from eating them, hehe.

OHMYGOD, I just realised I forgot to remove my nail polish. It's too late now, because black is quite messing and annoying to remove. I hope I don't get caught tomorrow. I just love assembly<3

ANYWAYS, I attempted to cut my fringe tonight. Sigh..my skin is turning bad again. I'm going through another pimple outbreak. Well, LIFE

I really can multi-task, ay.
I didn't cut much of my fringe. Just enough so that it won't get in the way of my eyes. I don't think anyone would be able to notice the change though. Well, or maybe I was too pussy to cut my own hair! With a pair of crafting scissors :)

I even took a break, because I was a bit nervous. Didn't want hair to fly around everywhere, since I cleaned the bathroom today.

Library Day

Hello, today I went to the state library in the morning with Zoe, so that we could work on our english script. We were quite productive, as we typed our discussions into the mini laptop as though we were msn-ing with each other. :)
My dad bought the laptop, but my aunts the only one who uses it. I had to change the background. Look how CHINGU it looked:

Ewwwwwwwwe..
Then, I found this in Zoe's USB.

Tada!

ANYWAYS,While Zoe did her part, I read this:

I found it near the entrance :D I took photos of the recipes as well, so that I could try them out someday. OH, talk about making food..I woke up at 5 this morning and made this:

A spinach and fetta damper. (Carrot and beetroot were added as bonus as well, hehe)

AFTERWARDS, as a break, we headed off to city for lunch. We walked there, and talked about what we wanted to eat. More like, I talked about what I wanted to eat. That 5 minutes walk across the bridge must had been horrible for her, since she had to hear what I usually think inside my head. I had trouble deciding what to eat. At first, it was the idea of something unhealthy like mcdonald's, then ice cream, then bread, then milk tea, then I felt like eating pecan and caramel tart, then sushi. Maybe I shouldn't repeat the the exact same thing again. Not in here.

ANYWAYS, I ate KEBAB in the end!

I ate it at top sushi, since Zoe felt like sushi:

I looked even ewwwier than that background on my mini laptop. :(

AFTERWARDS, we went shopping, and I bought a dress. I quite like this season's clothings. Zoe bought a perfume for her mummy. MOTHER'S DAY. Did you guys do anything? :)

ANYWAYS, we had ice cream from gelatissimo near top's sushi. I LOVE rum and raisin.

It was good, but not as good as everyone said it was. Maybe I just expected more. However, they did have a lot of interesting flavours that I would love to go back and try them. Tiramisu, biscotti,,,etc.

THEN, Zoe had to go home, and I went back to the library to continue on the english assignment, with my second partner, PATTY. We didn't work for very long though. I saw Jerome there as well. Then the three of us left the library together, and went home. I headed off towards city.

Then I missed the train. LUCKILY, the shops were still opened, so I had something to waste my time on. I ended up buying a pair of pants, because I'm sick of wearing black jeans. I've got three pairs at home, with which two are identical. -_-
I also bought a bronzing powder, because I suddenly felt like I needed to get tanned, without getting skin cancer, so.....

:)

Well, that was my day, and a long blog.
BYE

Saturday, May 8, 2010

Ohmygod, I really hate it when you accidently clicked a page that you weren't meant to click, and you quickly race to click the 'back' button or whatever. Because if you don't make it, that's few gigabytes gone. Why is Australia so cheapo, that they don't have unlimited downloads.
Well, they do now. I just need something complain about. I am officially capped again.

ANYWAYS, massive apology, since I havn't blogged in ages. I've been busy with studying and assignments. Not that anything interesting had happened, or I just didn't notice anything. Life hadn't been so happy as well, but I feel so grateful, that my friends make me smile everyday. I feel loved.

WELL, let's talk about something else. The other day, Hayley suddenly wanted to buy some nail polish and asked me to go, so we went to the shop. She didn't end up buying any, but I did. This happens everytime.-_-

I have no idea why I bought the red. The other is blue, and it's a tiny bit shiny. Can you see the 'new improved formula' sticker? This brand actually did improve on their nail polish. It dries much quicker than before now. I'm sure the most of you (girls) have seen it before. BYS. $3-5 makes it a pretty good buy now. They have a lot of colours to choose from as well.

Welcome to your new home.
Nail polish are so fun to stare at.

ANYWAYS, I did my math assignment for the whole day today. Spent ages playing restaurant city as well. I am seriously in love with that game. Nothing could be more fun than building a restaurant, and watching people walk in and out :D
Well, I started painting my nails randomly, while I waited for my math calculator screenshots to load. They take ages, but I'm glad.

I really do think these look gross. The last finger was dodgy as well, becuase I couldn't be stuffed anymore. Maths is more inviting, ay.

LASTLY, my breakfast this morning:

PEANUT BUTTER, HONEY AND BANANA ON TOAST.
SO YUMMY.

Buddha fest

I stir fried beef with udon the other day!:D

ANYWAYS, I'm a christian, but I went to buddha fest last night. :)
The fireworks were dodgy, but I had a pretty fun day with Allen, Vico, Caleb, Karen, Hayley and Martin. We watched Iron Man II, ate Subway, sing-k and pooled.

We saw Marlene as well!

Ohmygod It was so embarrassing...I lost these glasses when I was taking photos with Marlene in the cinema.

I'm Angelina Jolie.

Everyone saw me having them in my hands. Then randoms helped me and spotted them lying in the middle of the cinema on the floor. So embarrassing o...I'm so forgetful with my own belongings :( Karen laughed for so long, and maybe is still laughing.

while waiting for fireworks

<3333

guys are so mature, arn't they?

my boyfriend slapped his boyfriend :)

ANYWAYS, after the fireworks, my friends left and i met up with Jono and friends. We hung around and ate ice cream! Then, we went home.

OHMYGOD I got another box of lindor the other day! They have daisy prints on them!>u< Apparantly, they are realy cheap at Kmart right now, $6. Except they expire this year, so they arn't as smooth and the centre isn't as runny compare to the one that Zoe gave me for my birthday. If you want to buy good chocolate, look at the expiration date :)

They're still pretty good though, a combination of white and milk chocolate.

I dream of filling up my shelf with them, like books.
